Linking independent existing projects as parent-child projects

In this article, we will explain how to link projects as parent-child projects (project/sub-project) using the import function.

Note: The availability of this feature depends on your subscription plan. If you wish to use this feature, please contact your representative.

1. Click [Import Data] from the [Settings] menu

2. Click [Export] and download the existing project you want to link as an Excel file

3. Open the Excel file.

4. In the [Parent project ID] column for the project you want to make a child project (sub-project), enter the project ID ("UUID") of the project you want to assign as the parent project.

For example, if you want to make the project in row 3 the parent project and the project in row 4 the child/sub-project, input the IDs accordingly (copy-paste).

Save the edited Excel file to your PC.

5. On the [Import Data] screen in KANNA, select [Project Template] under the "Import Project info" header, [Select files], and check the 3 boxes to start import, then click [Upload].

For File Selection, choose the file that was created and saved in step 4

6. Completion

The projects will now be linked and displayed as parent-child projects
