To receive desktop notifications from KANNA, you will need to configure the notification settings in three locations: within KANNA, your browser (Google Chrome or Edge), and your computer's operating system (Windows/ Mac).
Note: Although this article includes instructions for configuring notifications in Edge, we recommend using Google Chrome for KANNA. If you're currently using Edge, please consider switching to Google Chrome.
How to Set Up Notifications in KANNA
1. From the menu, click on "Settings", then select "Notifications"
2. On the notification settings screen, check the box "Allow Notifications" next to "Desktop"
How to Set Up Notifications in Google Chrome
1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three-dot menu (⁝) in the upper-right corner, then select "Settings"
2. Click on "Privacy and Security", then select "Site Settings"
3. Under the "Permissions" section, click on "Notifications"
4. In the middle of the screen, click "Add", then insert KANNA's URL (kanna4u.com)
How to Set Up Notifications in Microsoft Edge
1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three-dot menu (⁝) in the upper-right corner, then select "Settings"
2. Click on "Cookies and site permissions", then select "Notifications"
3. Under the "Allow" section, click "Add" on the right side, then insert KANNA's URL (kanna4u.com) and add it
How to Set Up Notifications in Windows
1. Open Settings on your Windows computer
2. Click on "System", then select "Notifications"
3. Click the ">" next to Google Chrome (or Microsoft Edge)
4. Enable "Notifications" and "Show notification banners"
How to Set Up Notifications on a Mac
1. Click the
(Settings) icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and then select "System Settings"
