Subscription Terms

These Terms apply in addition to the KANNA Terms of Service (https://www.kanna4u.com/terms) when you (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "User") subscribe to the KANNA service provided by Aldagram Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Company," "Aldagram," "we," or "us") through the KANNA website. By subscribing to KANNA through this website, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Subscription plans

The subscription plans include both monthly and annual contracts. In either case, the timing of the payment for the KANNA usage fee (hereinafter referred to as the “Subscription Fee”) is at the time of subscription and renewal.

(1) Monthly Subscription

A Monthly Subscription is a plan with monthly payments and a monthly contract term. Billing occurs every month based on the subscription start date. For example, if the subscription begins at 9:00 AM on January 1, the next payment will be processed at 9:00 AM on February 1. If the corresponding subscription start date does not exist in a given month (e.g., a subscription starting on January 31), billing will occur on the last day of that month (e.g., February 28). The subscription automatically renews on a monthly basis.

(2) Yearly Subscription

A Yearly Subscription is a plan with annual payments and a one-year contract term. Billing occurs annually based on the subscription start date. For example, if the subscription begins at 9:00 AM on January 1, the next payment will be processed at 9:00 AM on January 1 of the following year. If the subscription starts on February 29 in a leap year, billing will occur on the last day of February in subsequent years (e.g., February 28). The subscription automatically renews on a yearly basis.

2. Subscription Fee

The Subscription Fee for each plan will remain fixed during the contract period. However, we may decide to change the Subscription Fee for the renewal period at any time by providing prior notice to you. The revised Subscription Fee will apply from the next renewal, including automatic renewal.

3. Changing your plan

An Upgrade refers to a change to a higher-priced plan, including an increase in the number of accounts, while a Downgrade refers to a change to a lower-priced plan. In either case, the contract period remains unchanged, and only the subscription details are modified within the same contract period.

(1) Upgrade

An Upgrade takes effect immediately upon submission of the upgrade request. At the time of the request, the price difference is charged on a prorated basis based on the remaining days of the subscription period. Thereafter, the subscription will automatically renew under the upgraded plan.

(2) Downgrade

A Downgrade takes effect at the time of the next renewal. Therefore, no prorated charges apply. If you wish to change your plan again after submitting a Downgrade request, you must first cancel the Downgrade request.

4. Unsubscribing your plan

If you unsubscribe from your plan, the subscription will not be renewed at the next renewal date. Even after unsubscription, the service can still be used until the end of the current subscription period. If you wish to change your plan after submitting a subscription request, you must first cancel the request. You cannot cancel the contract for the current subscription period.

5. Payment failure

If payment via the registered credit card fails, the user's account will be immediately changed to a plan that allows access only to the Free Service. As a result of this plan change, measures stipulated in the KANNA Terms of Service may be implemented. We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user due to such measures. However, at our sole discretion, we may attempt to process the payment multiple times after the initial failed payment date.

6. Rule for calculation

When calculating prorated charges in US dollars, any amount below one cent is rounded to the nearest cent. For example, $46.3333… will be rounded down to $46.33. When charges are invoiced in other currency, amounts will be rounded using a reasonable method determined by the Company.
