Using the Project Calendar with Parent/Sub Projects

This section explains how to use the combined features of the Project Calendar and Sub Project.

By combining the project calendar and the parent-subsidiary project function, you can manage the project like a process chart. For example, by setting the construction project itself as the parent project and each site as a child project, the progress status of each project and the period from the start of construction to the completion date will be displayed, which can be used like a process chart.

 

Display parent and child project in the project calendar

The start and completion dates of each project are displayed as a project calendar. As shown in the image below, the "Alda Residence Construction" parent project has "Temporary Scaffolding, Mesh Sheets," "Roof Primer," etc. as child projects, and by entering the start and completion dates for each project, you can keep track of the schedule for each project.
